She didn't defend us against the prevailing "bad teacher" philosophy derailing education in this country. Bill Maher started in on us again about "bad teachers" and that clueless panel laughed and giggled. I was thinking the whole time "Why don't they criticize bad doctors who kill people?" I think Ms. Weingarten came out in favor of legalizing pot, so she struck a balance; if you can't pay the help and treat them civilly, then drug them.

Who really cares! I feel that she used the members as stepping stones to launch her own career.
Let her stay in D.C. But, I truly hope someone else runs for president of the AFT and get her out. She's doing more harm than good.

I don't know that much about her, but I did think Bill did a pretty good job of trying to get people off of teachers' backs.
